JUST A FEW WEEKS AGO HELO WAS THE TOP 22” DOG AT THE UKI CUP IN CANADA! THIS WIN EARNS TEAM HELO AN AUTOMATIC SPOT TO COMPETE IN THE GRAND FINALS OF THE U.S. OPEN (JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA, NOVEMBER 2018). IN ADDITION HELO AND LEDA FINISH UKI CHAMPIONSHIP TITLES AND SCORE VARIOUS PODIUM FINISHES THROUGHOUT THE COMPETITION |

My dogs spoiled me big time this weekend... Leda and Helo BOTH made 4/4 Podiums 😁 in addition BOTH WIN THE “TOP DOG” award for their height classes! “TOP DOG” is awarded to only ONE dog - the top scoring overall- of each height class! Not only did we get a fancy leash + trophy BUT won a bye directly into Round 2 at the 2018 CANADA OPEN!

Doing so earned them a bye into the semi-final round at the World Cynosport Games held in TN Oct 2017. They also made the Grand Prix Finals and WON biathlon Jumpers! |

CANADA CUP = SUCESS!April 15-16, 2017.
Tara, Leda + Helo traveled to Newmarket, Ontario, CANADA to compete in the EASTERN SPRING UKI CUP. Tara + Leda topped the podium, WINNING the overall GOLD MEDAL for 16"s SPEEDSTEAKS and they took the SILVER MEDAL for the Biathlon Agility. Tara + Helo not only WON 22" Snooker, but, earned the overall SILVER MEDAL for 22" SPEEDSTEAKS. |

Thank you - everyone - for thinking of me and my dog agility business, Follow the Leda. Unfortunately my dream classroom was destroyed in a fire early Saturday morning (June 18). I lost almost everything. My students, friends, family and the entire dog agility community far and wide have been amazing--positive thoughts, donations of money and equipment, tons of time spent helping me move and clean equipment, setting up this new (temporary) field. :)
The "Follow the Leda field" will be officially OPEN FOR BUSINESS on Friday, June 24. My husband, some students and I have been working around the clock to have this ready for fun & action ASAP. My insurance company is the worst, they are not covering anything. The months to come are going to be challenging for many reasons related to this fire. The losses are great. I am at Mother Nature's mercy and I am praying the summer is not too hot or rainy so that I may continue to provide my k9 and human students with top notch agility lessons. Meanwhile the old school must be bulldozed, and in a few months time a bigger and better indoor classroom will be ready. :) Until then... Here is my temporary field. My landlord, Randy, is a wonderful guy- this is his field. He mowed it and set me up with the fencing. My dogs have test driven the surface and equipment... They give it 2 paws up! THANK YOU to my students who are sticking with me through thick and thin. I love you!!! Check out the video (to the RIGHT) . While we mourn our old classroom, we will have fun making new memories and advancing our training and handling in the field. and her dynamic duo of Rudy and Nebraska the Chihuahuas! Nebraska truly is "the little engine that could" not only placing in several runs, but winning the Colors run and placing 3rd overall in specialist games! Amazing achievement. Way to go!

Tara & Leda finish 3rd at the AKC National Agility Championships
in Tulsa, Oklahoma. March 18-20, 2016.
They competed against over 340 of the top 20" dogs from across the country.

C-ATE MISTYCongratulations to students TOM + MISTY
on achieving their C-ATE! To earn this prestigious title this team had to qualify over 240 times in the Champion class. WOW!

Tom and Misty the Labrador had an "extraordinary" showing in Farmington, NY (2-20/21). Team Misty received a PERFECT WEEKEND medal for qualifying in all of their runs. They also earned Extraordinaire Titles in Jumpers and Full House -- each equalling 30 perfect runs in each event. WOW!

Debby and Oliver the Poodle earned their AKC Master Agility Championship for the second time on February 21 in Amherst, NH.
They also WON the 16" Grand Prix at a USDAA trial the day before at a different trial. Holy smokes!

Carrie and Rudy the Chihuahua earned their CPE Agility Trial Championship for the second time on January 31 in Farmington, NY. Team Rudy also finished their Colors Champion Title the same weekend. YAY!
